The temple is situated at Alathiyur near Tirur.The temple has glorious past of 3000 years.The temple built in the model of kerala Amblam archetecture. it was said to have been cosercrated and raised by saga vasishta.The diety is Hanuman however the main diety is SreeRama for which there is a seperate shrine adjacent to the shrine Hanuman.Here in main sanctum Lord shree rama seen in a peculiar expression on his face and it seen without his concert sita without his side.SreeRama seen here is after Ravana exortion of seeta.yet here another shrine for Lakshmana few meters away from SreeRama shrine.The main offerings to the Hanuman are PothiAvil and kadali plantain.It is widely belived that worshipping of Hanuman result in the fullfilment of wishes and elimination of ill effect..
